Marge
When Marge, a 1-year-old tuxedo kitty was tossed out onto the streets, her home soon became a thorny bougainvillea bush. For months she searched dumpsters for scraps of food, a task that became even more difficult when she brought a litter of kittens into the world.
When an EAMT found Marge and her babies they were very thin so they were sent to a foster home where they were nursed back to health. Marge's babies have all been adopted, but this long whiskered kitty has been searching for the right family for over 60 days now and has become a member of the exclusive Lonely Heart's club.
Marge is a sweet and laid-back kitty who could care less she shares her new home with children and /or other felines as long as she is loved forever. She is very timid around other dogs and will try and intimidate a curious canine by puffing her tail and arching her back. Instead of bouncing around the house causing trouble like a young kitty, Marge would much rather find a cozy lap to curl up in and purr herself to sleep. She spends her afternoons perched on the kitty condo gazing out the window and watching the world go by. She adjusts quickly to new places and she makes her self comfortable in minutes.
She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Petique Retail and Adoption Center located at the Biltmore Fashion Park. Since she is a member of our Lonely Heart’s club, her adoption fee is just $20. This adoption fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar with an AHS I.D. tag, a pet carrier and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about this pet, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A308589 or log on to www.azhumane.org.
